Q: Where can a bouncy castle be set up?

A: Our units can be set up on any level surface (indoors or outdoors).

Q: What kind of power source is required?

A: The unit requires an 120V outlet that is within 100 feet of the unit. The outlet should be separate from other items requiring electricity. We do however have generators for rent if needed.

Q: What preparations am I responsible for?

A: Please ensure a clear path as to where we need to set the unit up. If we must pass through a gate to get to a backyard, the opening must be no smaller then 4 feet wide as the unit needs to put pushed through using a large dolly. The area should be cleared of all ground debris such as rocks, sticks, pet litter, etc. It must also be clear of overhanging dangers like branches and power lines. Because we anchor the inflatable units into the ground with metals stakes, you must ensure that all underground utilities and/or sprinkler systems have been clearly marked before set up. If you are unsure, you may contact “” and they will mark the underground services for you (this is a free service).

Q: Do you require a deposit?

A: No, if you are only renting out one unit, we do not require a deposit. However on larger orders, we do require a 20% deposit. This allows us to hold/confirm the reservation for you. The remainder of your balance is due upon arrival on the day of your event. We accept CASH, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and Cheque.

Q: What is your Cancellation Policy?

A: If you provide your notice of cancellation more than 7 days prior to your event, then a NO FEES ARE DUE and/or FULL REFUND is given. If you provide your notice of cancellation less than 7 days prior to your event, then a 20% charge will apply. Cancellations due to bad weather always get a FULL REFUND ***Please see the explanation below for cancellations due to bad weather***

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? What is your weather cancellation policy?

A: Here at JumpAround, we know that sometimes the weather is simply unpredictable and above all, your safety is our number one concern. If there are 25km/hr+ winds, if it is actively raining or the temperature is below 10 Degrees Celsius, then the unit is simply unsafe to use for a number of reasons and we must cancel your reservation.  ***We cannot set up in high winds or if it is actively raining*** NO FEES ARE DUE and/or FULL REFUND WILL BE GIVEN. 

If the weather is uncertain(example: 50%+ chance of rain), we will contact you (or you may contact us) either the day before or day of your event to discuss your options. If the weather is uncertain, we will give you the option of cancelling or moving forth with your order. If you cancel due the uncertain weather, a NO FEES ARE DUE and/or FULL REFUND will be given. However if you choose to have us come out and set up (even if the weather gets bad at some point throughout your rental time), then NO REFUND will be given. 

If the weather gets bad (high winds, rain, etc.) at some point during your rental time, please evacuate and deflate the unit immediately. Fold the unit over so that the inside does no continue to get wet. Once the bad weather passes, re-inflate the unit and dry off the inside before using again.

WARNING: Inflatable units must NEVER be used if:

  • If there are 25km/hr.+ winds
  • If it is raining. If the unit becomes wet (especially on the inside), it becomes very slippery and dangerous.
  • If the temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius

Q: Can I hire attendants/operators with your equipment?

A: Yes, we can provide one (or more) of our friendly professional attendants/operators for your event for a fee of $20.00/hr. per attendant/operator. If you do not wish to hire our staff for your event, that is fine, however you must appoint someone who is over the age of 18 to act as the attendant/operator to ensure everyone is following the rules & guidelines. 

Q: Do you Charge GST?

A: Our GST is included in our prices. So the price you see is the price you pay. 

Q: Do you offer free delivery?

A: Yes, we offer free delivery within Edmonton. There is however a delivery fee for areas outside of Edmonton. Please contact us regarding delivery fees for outside of Edmonton (as prices vary for each location). 

Q: What type of Insurance does JumpAround Promotions have?

A: JumpAround Promotions Alberta Inc. is fully licensed and holds a $2 million general liability policy.
